A Low-Pressure Area lies over East Uttar Pradesh and adjoining Bihar. The western end of Axis of Monsoon Trough ha shifted to the foothills and the eastern end is passing through Gonda, centre of Low-Pressure Area, Jharkhand and Gangetic West Bengal towards Northeast Bay of Bengal. A North-South Trough is extending from Low-Pressure Area to North Tamil Nadu across Odisha and Coastal Andhra Pradesh. A Cyclonic Circulation is over the Gujarat region. Another Cyclonic Circulation is over West Assam. A Trough is extending from Coastal Karnataka to Kerala.

In the last 24 hours moderate to heavy rains occurred over parts of Uttar Pradesh, East Madhya Pradesh, and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Light to moderate rains with one or two heavy spells was seen over Coastal Karnataka. Scattered light to moderate rains was seen over Chhattisgarh, parts of Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu. The weather of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and most parts of Rajasthan remained dry. Scattered light rains with one or two moderate spells were seen over rest parts of the country.

Scattered light to moderate rains can be seen over Coastal Karnataka, Marathwada, parts of Telangana, rest Madhya Pradesh, East and Central Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, parts of Odisha, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Assam, Nagaland, Manipur, and parts of Arunachal Pradesh. The weather of West Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, and Jammu and Kashmir will be dry while scattered light rains with one or two moderate spells will be a sight over rest parts of the country.
