A Low-Pressure Area has developed in the Arabian Sea off the Maharashtra coast. It will intensify into a Depression and will move in a west-northwest direction. A Cyclonic Circulation is over Central Pakistan and West Rajasthan. Another Cyclonic Circulation is over Rayalaseema and adjoining areas. The east-west wind shear zone is extending from Low-Pressure Area to Southeast Bay of Bengal across Rayalaseema and a Cyclonic Circulation is also seen near Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Fourth Cyclonic Circulation is seen over East Assam.
Weather Activity during the last 24 hours
During the last 24 hours, heavy to very heavy rains occurred over Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Moderate to heavy rains were seen over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, parts of Telangana, isolated pockets of Konkan and Goa, Coastal Karnataka, Vidarbha, Marathwada, North Madhya Maharashtra and parts of West and Northwest Madhya Pradesh. Light to moderate rains at many places occurred over Interior Tamil Nadu, Kerala, parts of Odisha, South Gujarat, South and Central Uttar Pradesh and parts of Himachal Pradesh. The weather remained dry over Northeast India, most parts of Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, while light rains occurred over rest all places.

During the next 24 hours, scattered light to moderate rains with isolated heavy spells may occur over South Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, parts of Vidarbha, parts of Chhattisgarh, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, parts of Telangana and Konkan and Goa. Scattered light to moderate rains are possible over parts of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, Coastal Karnataka, Kerala, parts of Tamil Nadu, South and central Uttar Pradesh, parts of Bihar and Jharkhand, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, West Assam, Mizoram, and Tripura. The weather will be dry over Kutch, many parts of Rajasthan with scattered light rains over rest all places.
