Team Gujcot has made a dedicated effort to compile district-wise estimates of Gujarat’s cotton crop. This comprehensive estimation has been prepared for the benefit of the entire cotton fraternity. We believe it will assist all stakeholders in planning their forward strategies effectively.

As per our current estimate, Gujarat’s own cotton crop is expected to be around 64.12 lakh bales. In addition, we anticipate that approximately 9 lakh bales of kapas may migrate from other states into Gujarat. Accordingly, total cotton pressing in Gujarat is projected to reach nearly 73 lakh bales of 170 kg each.

This is the first estimate of the season. We will continue to review and update these figures periodically and will strive to keep the trade informed about Gujarat’s cotton pressing activities.
